Dear Friends,
It has been almost thirteen years since Karen and I began our ministry to the post-communist country of Romania. What a journey it has been living through many precious times, yet times of difficulty as well. It has been an honor to serve the Lord here
in Romania with Pathway to Joy Ministries (PTJM).
PTJM is a multi-faceted, non-profit Christian organization ministering in orphan/relief care, evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. We exist to take the gospel to Romania, a country with a history of revolution, where spiritual revolution is still needed.
 Our vision is to
empower the church
and community to care for orphan children and families in crisis through the love of God. Our heart is to connect people to Jesus.
Based on James 1:27, we strive to improve conditions for abandoned, orphaned, and impoverished children in our community. We do this by building a network of Christian foster homes that provide for their needs in a safe and loving environment. We also make efforts to solve the legal issues of infants and children who are currently abandoned at the Oradea children′s hospital.
Recognizing that the root of the social problems in Romania today are due in part to the presence of sin, we see our focus upon the spiritual needs of the people as our best preventive measure against future child neglect and abandonment and the scriptural means for a brighter future for all Romanians!
We see our foster care ministry as a strategic viable conduit to express God's love and plan of redemption for the Romanian people. Hundreds of children and families have been impacted by our ministry programs and we look forward with great anticipation to see what God will continue to do.
