Our Children’s Hospital Project began in 1999 due to one child in particular that came to our ministry’s attention. His name was Rezmuves. We called him Rez. His physical condition and his inability to thrive convinced us of the necessity of this project. We never saw a human being in such bad shape. Rez was 18 months old and destined to die.
One hospital nurse told us that the food we were giving him was a waste because he was going to live but a few days anyways. We continued to love him, feed him, and pray for him.
He not only lived, but today he is a wonderful child that is cared and loved for by a loving foster family. He was given a second chance due to the generosity of our ministry partners. We are so thankful to God and to you for the critical part you played in his life.
Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in my name receives me. Matthew 18:4-5.
