“Go Ye Therefore...”
As we obey the Word of God which says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matt. 28:19 KJV), we experience what follows in verse 20, “...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matt. 28:20 KJV)
We began our ministry in Sabolciu a few years ago. Today we are reaping the harvest of the souls that we taught the Word of God in just the last few months. What an amazing time we had recently, when together with a few dozen people from Sabolciu and the nearby villages, we gathered by the river in Sabolciu and officiated a New Testament baptism. Lots of singing, preaching, laughter, and eating. That’s how we celebrated, with over one hundred people, the commitment made to Jesus by a few people in our church. Some opposed us; many were supportive. Even a snake showed up for the event during the time of preaching. The weather was beautiful; so were the faces of those who celebrated their commitment to Jesus Christ.
At one point in the service, Cornel challenged the people gathered on the shores of the river to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and to follow him into the river to be baptized. One girl joined the others in the river and she also was baptized. A few others convicted by the preaching of the Word told Cornel that they want to be baptized next time. We praise God for the open door for the Gospel in these Gypsy communities. Jesus Christ was lifted up, and those that needed to hear the Gospel heard it, many for the first time. After the service, many new opportunities to witness opened and more people shared their desire to draw closer to God. Please continue to pray and support us as we together seek to fulfill the Great Commission.
Sincerely yours,

When I came back from my mission trip to Romania through Pathway to Joy, I was sharing with my small group of fifth grade girls about the Romanian Gypsy village that we served in. At the village they have no well, so they have to walk three miles for water. The girls were very concerned and decided they wanted to raise money for them to have a well in their village. We decided to have a bake sale. I was really impressed with how they took on the project as their own. They made signs, baked goods, and spread the word. We did the bake sale and just asked for people to donate money for a well in a Romanian Gypsy village. Over two days they raised close to $400!
I think my favorite part of the experience was watching the girls become empowered. They learned that even at a young age, they can make a difference for a village across the world and that God can use them to do mighty things to impact His kingdom.
